Yugo 55e Wants to be a BMW 3-Series When it Grows Up


Ah, Yugo, once Yugoslavia's and then Serbia's pride and joy in the automotive industry. The Yugo was produced by Zastava Automobile, which succumbed to Fiat's lure in 2008, with the Italian carmaker now using its Serbian factory in Kragujevac to build the new 500L mini MPV.

However, we're not here to give you a lesson on the history of Yugo and its parent company Zastava. Instead, we want to show you this Yugo 55e from 1987 that is listed for sale by Polovni Automobili in its home country.
